Stephen Newell and company I would have no hesitation in recommending to any person considering either a new build or an extension. The three main reason are Stephen attention to detail , his ability to understand and translate a family’s needs and desires for their home into reality, and his ability coordinate the entire job from start to finish . Our job was completed in the exact time frame that Stephen had told us it would be and even more importantly bang on budget!!! Except for a few luxuries that we actually insisted on!

Our house is a listed building and other architects who we had talked to about our ideas for the house prior to speaking to Stephen had insisted that the planners would not give permission for what we wanted.

Stephen and his company came up with a unique design that first was accepted by preplanning and then by full planning permission.. we were delighted with the service that we got from Stephen.

It is unusual to have an architect who has an ability to understand and be sympathetic to older buildings and yet can give a new living space to a family that is in complete unison with the older house yet at the same time being very much seen as a modern extension internally and externally Thanks Stephen and company
